FAQs
How much is it to clean my windows ?
The simple answer is, we don’t know until we visit your property. There are so many variables - number of windows, size of windows, access to all the windows, is there a conservatory… This is the reason why, here at Spotless, we will come to your house or business to discuss your needs and provide a quote, free of charge.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
This is down to your preference, we won’t force you to have a monthly clean. Some of our customers choose to have their windows cleaned monthly, some bi-monthly and others quarterly. The frequency of cleaning can be discussed at the quotation stage.
My conservatory roof is green, what can be done?
The green roof can be remedied. We can use a pre-treatment and then wash the polycarbonate or glass panels with warm, pure water.
When will you come to clean my windows?
We’ll send a text message the night before the day we are due to clean. You’ll have an idea of when a clean is due by the agreed frequency.
How high can you reach?
We can clean up to 6 storeys high from the ground. Our operators are also IPAF qualified enabling us to clean windows in hard to reach apartment blocks, flats, offices, industrial units and other high rise buildings.
My roof is full of moss, should I worry about my gutters becoming blocked?
In our experience moss is the biggest contributor to guttering becoming blocked. This is easily rectified using our industrial wet vacuum cleaner and carbon fibre poles to suck out the contents of any full gutter - on a residential or commercial property. Watch our video to see us in action.
Why are my windows left wet?
We use pure water which has had the particulates taken out that would normally leave water marks on your windows. Because our water has been purified we can leave your windows to dry naturally confident no marks will appear.
What if I’m not happy with my windows?
Simple. Give us a call and we will return to rectify the issue. Especially after a deep, initial clean the frames can leach out years of dirt and dust. This can, in a few cases, continue to come out after we have gone and dry on the window. If this is the case, please call and we’ll sort it asap.
Can you clean our school’s windows?
Yes. We clean several school and college campuses. We are DBS checked, giving you additional assurance that Spotless Window Cleaning is the right choice.
How much is it to clear my gutters?
Every premises differs, so every quote will differ. Before we carry out any work Spotless will provide a free, no obligation quote after a site survey.
My solar panels have lichen growing on them. Can you get rid of this?
Lichen is a major issue for solar panels that aren’t cleaned regularly and have a major impact on how much electricity your solar panels make. The good news is that here at Spotless we can get rid of any lichen build up on your solar panels leaving them sparkling clean when we finish.
Can you provide RAMS for work carried out on my business?
Yes we can. RAMS can be provided to comply with your health and safety guidelines. Please ask when you contact us to use our services.
